Camasonics – Twin Element Contact/Compression Transducers
Twin element contact/compression transducers are specifically used for corrosion, pitting and thickness measurements in thin wall materials where a good near surface resolution is needed.
The ability to focus twin element contact transducers makes them ideal for checking curved surfaces and lamination.
- Perspex or high temperature stand offs available for time of flight or thickness measurement
- Polyurethane replaceable membranes for better contact on poor surface applications
- Silicone rubber faced transducers for dry coupled applications, where liquid contact is not desirable
- Variable levels of damping available for specific measurements
- Couplant filled membranes
These transducers can be manufactured to suit a curved surface.
